Christian Cipollina
Ordained Minister in Acworth, Georgia
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
When I was asked why I got ordained, the answer is simple, because my little sister asked me to. She and her fiance, CJ, wanted me to officiate their wedding, and I was deeply honored by that request. It wasn't something I had ever planned or even thought much about before, but the moment she asked, I knew there was no way I could say no.
Being asked to officiate a wedding, especially for someone you love, is a once in a lifetime kind of honor. It meant that my sister not only trusted me with one of the most important moments of her life, but also saw me as someone who could hold space for her and CJ as they committed themselves to one another. That trust meant the world to me.
So, I became ordained not just to perform a ceremony, but to give them something deeply personal, meaningful, and grounded in love. I wanted to create a moment that reflected who they are, what they mean to each other, and what this step in their lives truly represents. To be the person standing with them as they exchanged vows, to witness and help guide that moment, was a privilege I’ll never forget.
At the heart of it, I became an officiant because I love my sister, I believe in love, and I wanted to be part of something beautiful and lasting.

What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
My initial reason for getting ordained was to officiate my sister’s wedding, but going through that process made me realize how special it is to help others mark such an important milestone in their lives. I want to be someone who brings calm, warmth, and sincerity to wedding ceremonies — especially for couples who want something unique and deeply personal. Whether it’s for friends, family, or others who ask, I hope to use my ordination to support love in its many forms and help make lasting memories for those I serve.

What makes my ceremonies special is the energy and personality I bring to each one. I believe weddings should be joyful and meaningful — not stiff or overly formal — so I aim to create an atmosphere where everyone can relax, laugh, and truly enjoy the moment.
