Rev. J. Santos
Ordained Minister in Honolulu, Hawaii
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became an ordained minister online because I wanted to be there for the people I care about during their most important moments—whether that’s a wedding, a memorial, or just offering comfort when it’s needed most. I didn’t need a pulpit or a building to feel called to help others; I just wanted to show up with love, support, and sincerity. This gave me a way to do that, in a way that felt personal and meaningful.
Where are you from?
Honolulu, Hawaii
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
With my online ordination, I hope to create moments that truly matter—ones filled with love, respect, and meaning. Whether it’s officiating a wedding, offering support during hard times, or just being someone people can turn to, I want to use this role to bring comfort, connection, and a sense of belonging to others. It’s about showing up for people, however and whenever they need it.
