Rev. Dr. Drew Anderson
Ordained Minister in Coatesville, Pennsylvania
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became an ordained minister online as a way to formalize and honor the decade I had spent deeply engaged in religious studies, which ultimately culminated in earning a degree in theology. For me, ordination wasn’t just a symbolic gesture—it was a meaningful step toward living out the values I had studied and embraced over the years. After ten years of exploring various faith traditions, theological concepts, and spiritual practices, I felt called to serve others in a more direct and personal way. Becoming ordained allowed me to officiate ceremonies, support others in their spiritual journeys, and continue my commitment to faith-based service in a way that felt both authentic and purposeful.
Where are you from?
Coatesville, PA
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
With my online ordination, I hope to create meaningful connections by offering spiritual support, guidance, and services to those who may not have access to traditional religious spaces. My goal is to use my background in theology and ten years of religious studies to meet people where they are—whether that’s officiating weddings, providing comfort during life transitions, or fostering inclusive conversations about faith. Ultimately, I want to make spirituality accessible, compassionate, and relevant, and to serve others with empathy, openness, and a genuine respect for diverse beliefs and experiences.

Additional Information
While my personal foundation is rooted in Christianity, my approach to ministry is intentionally open-hearted and inclusive. I was raised with Christian values that emphasize love, compassion, and service, and those principles guide everything I do. At the same time, through my theological studies and life experience, I’ve developed a deep respect for the diversity of spiritual and philosophical paths that people walk.
Whether someone identifies with a different faith tradition, multiple traditions, or none at all, I believe every person’s beliefs and experiences are valid and deserving of respect. My goal is to create spaces where all feel seen, heard, and honored—whether that’s through prayer, shared silence, symbolic rituals, or simply storytelling. Faith, to me, is about connection and meaning, and I’m committed to helping people find that in ways that align with who they truly are.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Coatesville, PA wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies special as a wedding officiant is the way I weave each couple’s unique love story into a moment that feels personal, sacred, and unforgettable. I see each ceremony as more than a legal milestone—it's a celebration of two souls choosing each other, and I treat it with that depth and joy. With a background in theology and a decade of studying religious traditions, I tailor each service to reflect the couple’s values—whether spiritual, secular, interfaith, or something beautifully in between.
I also bring warmth, a calming presence, and a touch of creativity—whether it’s crafting custom vows, incorporating meaningful rituals, or even adding a bit of humor when the moment calls for it. My goal is to create a space that feels like them—where the ceremony is not just witnessed, but truly felt by everyone present. It’s about authenticity, connection, and creating a memory that lasts long after the last toast is made.

That said, I’m also open to traveling beyond that radius if the opportunity arises. Love knows no bounds—and neither do I when it comes to helping people celebrate their most important moments. If the connection feels right, I’m more than happy to go the extra mile—literally!

What I offer as a minister goes beyond just the ceremony itself. I see my role as part storyteller, part spiritual guide, and part steady hand during some of life’s most meaningful (and sometimes nerve-wracking) moments. Whether I’m officiating a wedding, blessing a new home, or helping someone navigate a personal transition, I bring a calm, compassionate presence and a genuine respect for the unique path each person walks.
I specialize in creating inclusive, customized experiences that honor love in all its forms—interfaith, non-religious, and everything in between. I take the time to listen, to learn your story, and to shape something that feels real—not cookie-cutter. My services are rooted in kindness, creativity, and a deep belief that spiritual moments should feel deeply personal and joyful.
