Thiago Lisboa
Ordained Minister in Los Angeles, California
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I decided to become an ordained minister online because I felt called to serve others in a meaningful way, without the need for traditional formalities. I wanted to be able to offer spiritual support, perform ceremonies for friends and family, and create a welcoming space for people to connect with their own beliefs. The convenience and flexibility of online ordination allowed me to take this step in a way that felt right for me, without the barriers that can sometimes come with more conventional routes.
Where are you from?
I am originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil. It is a city that has shaped a lot of who I am today, and I still carry a lot of the values and experiences from there with me. However, I have had the opportunity to live in some amazing places, like New York City and Rome. Currently, I live in Los Angeles, where I am embracing a new chapter in my journey.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
With my online ordination, I hope to be able to offer support, guidance, and a sense of connection to those around me. Whether it is performing ceremonies for friends and family, providing spiritual guidance, or simply being a source of positivity and encouragement, I want to use this ordination to help others in meaningful ways. My goal is to create a space where people feel heard, valued, and respected in their personal journeys.
