Christina
Ordained Minister in Jacksonville, Florida
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became ordained because people were already coming to me during some of the hardest moments of their lives. Long before titles or credentials, I found myself guiding people through grief, trauma, addiction, relationship struggles, spiritual questioning, and major life transitions. Becoming ordained felt like an alignment between the work I was already doing and the responsibility I felt to serve people in a deeper and more intentional way.
My path has been shaped by personal loss, surviving abuse, walking through illness, and learning what healing actually looks like beyond surface-level positivity. I wanted to create spaces where people could feel seen without judgment while also being challenged to grow, heal, and take ownership of their lives with compassion and honesty.

What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I hope to use my ordination to continue creating meaningful, authentic, and healing-centered experiences for people during some of the most important moments of their lives. Whether it is officiating weddings, facilitating ceremonies, offering spiritual support, or helping people reconnect with themselves, my goal is to bring depth, sincerity, emotional presence, and genuine care into every interaction.
I also hope to bridge spirituality with emotional healing in a way that feels human and accessible. Many people have felt disconnected from traditional religious spaces, judged for their past, or unsure where they belong spiritually. I want people to know they are still worthy of love, connection, growth, and meaningful ceremony.

Additional Information
My spiritual approach is rooted in compassion, self-awareness, personal responsibility, healing, and human connection. While I hold a Master’s in Divinity and respect many spiritual traditions, I work with people from diverse backgrounds, belief systems, and life experiences.
I believe spirituality should help people become more honest, loving, aware, and connected rather than fearful, performative, or divided. My approach is inclusive, heart-centered, and focused on helping people find meaning, healing, and deeper connection within themselves and with others.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Jacksonville, FL wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies special is that they are deeply personal, emotionally honest, and centered around the real meaning of partnership. I do not believe marriage is just about romance or a perfect moment for photos. It is about commitment, accountability, communication, friendship, healing, and choosing each other through both ease and challenge.
I take time to understand the couple’s story, values, dynamic, and what love truly means to them. My approach blends warmth, depth, spirituality, humor when appropriate, and emotional authenticity. I want couples and guests to walk away feeling something real, not like they sat through a generic script.
I also bring a trauma-informed and human-centered perspective into my work, which helps create a grounded, safe, and emotionally connected atmosphere during ceremonies.

Additional Information
In addition to officiating weddings, I provide spiritual guidance, emotional support, coaching, and healing-centered services through my practice, Tranquil Balance. My background includes counseling, attachment theory, trauma-informed care, shadow work facilitation, and holistic healing approaches.
I believe ministry is not just about speaking at people. It is about walking beside them during real life. That includes moments of celebration, grief, rebuilding, forgiveness, self-discovery, and transformation.
I aim to create spaces where people feel emotionally safe while also being encouraged to grow honestly and intentionally. My work focuses heavily on compassion balanced with accountability, because true healing requires both.
