John M Fitton
Ordained Minister in nelson, Tasman
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I am an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church, committed to creating an inclusive and supportive community. My journey has been shaped by overcoming a challenging past, including homelessness and legal struggles, and I’ve turned those experiences into a driving force for building a better future for others.
I founded WestFlow Church to offer a place of belonging where individuals of all faiths and backgrounds can come together without fear of judgment. My ministry focuses on community service, outreach, and personal empowerment, with the core belief that our past does not define our future. Mission & Values
Service-Oriented Ministry – Leading cleanups, outreach, and providing practical help to those in need. Inclusivity & Non-Judgment – Welcoming all people, regardless of beliefs or life experiences. Empowerment & Growth – Encouraging personal development and community engagement. Self-Sustaining & Ethical – Running a ministry free from debt, supported by fundraising and local sponsorships.
As my ministry grows, I also aspire to offer ceremonial services, including weddings, naming ceremonies, and more. My goal is to expand my offerings to become a celebrant and help people mark significant moments in their lives with authenticity, love, and respect.
Through WestFlow Church, I aim to build a compassionate, connected community and empower others to create positive change in their lives and the world around them.
