Anna-Marie Navarrette
Ordained Minister in Santa Fe, New Mexico
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I have a career history of being a funeral director and working many services. I had been witness to a number of people that felt limited to the type of services they were allowed as the funeral directors were not versed in other spiritual beliefs (my location is primarily Catholic). With me being of open mind to all beliefs, I wanted to become a minister to offer more options to other beliefs, in regards to funerals, weddings and other services.
Where are you from?
I was born in California and mostly raised there, however, my mother's family is from New Mexico and I spent a lot of my life growing up there as well. I moved to New Mexico in 2002, as an adult, and started my family.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
As stated above, i would like to educate myself and train in services of other religious practices and offer my services as an alternative to to the local "norm".
