My cousin asked me to officiate her wedding after seeing me give eulogies at all of my grandparents funerals and memorial services. She wanted someone who her and her husband felt comfortable with, and would make the ceremony entertaining and heartfelt. I was honored to be asked, and became ordained. I had a wonderful time officiating and got such great feedback, that I'd love to help others make their love official!

I enjoy bringing people together, bringing out the best in people in speeches, and helping take the stress off of others in planning and celebrating. I make sure the focus is on the couple and that the ceremony feels authentic to who they are. I've also worked on a wedding TV show and with a wedding band, so have sat through many ceremonies and know the importance of keeping a good flow to hold guests' interest, and enjoy sprinkling in some humor!

Experienced in NY, live in Colorado, open to traveling anywhere depending on the distance/fee. Also open to adventurous ceremonies that involve hiking, swimming, getting to remote locations.

In planning a marriage, vow renewal, or funeral ceremony I find it important to talk through my client's vision of the event and format options. I can offer in-person and virtual meetings, and phone calls. I send out a short questionnaire to my clients so they can share personal information that helps me customize and personalize the ceremony, and provide them with examples of different readings to pick based on their religions, spirituality, and interests. I am also a professional event planner, so can also lend help in being a day-of-event point person with venues and vendors to help make sure things run smoothly for an additional fee.
