Linda Angie Logan
Ordained Minister in Pamplona, Navarra
About Me:
Like the Stoics, I firmly believe that "the good life", (eudaimonia, often translated as “flourishing”) consists in cultivating one's moral virtues in order to become a good person. Additionally, Stoics believe that to become a good person one would be wise to choose to follow four cardinal virtues: Wisdom (sophia), Courage (andreia), Justice (dikaiosyne), and Temperance (sophrosyne). To my mind, these terrains are seeded, nurtured and grow through; observation, reflection, meditation, interaction and alliance with others. An individual is a whole made up of, and supported by many parts. If one is fortunate enough to find a complementing partner, the next logical step is to commit to continuing on the journey of life with that particular individual in a solidified relationship. Hence, marriage is one of many logical steps toward "the good life."
