Cindy Burke Sarmiento

I believe in marrige and the belief of marriage I believe everyone deserves a happy ever after or the option to keep trying until you do. I originally did it to be part of a friends wedding back in 2015. I was lucky to have been married to the love of my life for 27 yrs Im even more proud that I fulfilled my vows till death do us part in 2021when my husband passed. In honor of him and our love I want to be a part of others finding what I had and to also remind myself that its okay if I never find love again and its okay if I do find love again.

I was born in Vietnam, grew up and raised in Honolulu Hawaii. My father worked over seas a lot which allowed my father to send my mother and I to meet up with my father while visiting her family. I went to 8th grade in Santa Clara Ca living with my moms younger siblings. I returned home for the rest of my high school years. After high school I lived in Milpitas with my aunt and uncle I spent my 8th grad year with. I went to Guam to help my mother at her restaurant where I met my husband. We moved our family to the Bay Area in 2001 and raised our kids until he passed in 2021. I am still in Alameda where I will stay for it is my home now.

That I in some small way can give back to my community I am still figuring it out so I'm starting with one wedding at a time. I hope to make every individual feel accepted and we all belong here no matter what.

I am not sure just yet but I hope to make each wedding special to each unique couple.

I hope to learn and grow to be able to guide indiviuals in all aspects of faith I would like to do grow in my services with other needs. such as funerals and Baptismal and so on.
