Ambyr Stovall
Ordained Minister in Village, Oklahoma
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I have always had a deep love and fascination for how people connect with the divine. As I child, i was not forced into a church, but rather encouraged to explore many faith options and find the right path to God for me. I found that path in a small country church built by my great great-grandfather and great-uncle. The blood and sweat of my ancestors being embedded in the wood and mortar moved my spirit, and that is where I discovered my own connection to God and the universe beyond my earthly understanding. Since then, I have continued to grow and foster my relationship with both the creator of the universe, and my ancestors. Throughout this time, i have pursued learning as much as possible about the religious and spiritual practices of this world, from ancient times to present day. My personal beliefs fall into the realm of Gnosticism, Perennialism, and Pantheism. I am respectful of other faiths, familiar with pagan practices, and knowledgeable of many traditions and folklores from around the globe. I chose to become ordained so that i could utilize what i have learned about spirituality, religion, and tradition to help people.
