Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
To marry a friend. I also noticed that there's not very many non-church options in this area, so I thought I might be able to help out other people.

Aberdeen, SD now. I grew up in Missouri.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I hope to be of service in a small way.

I grew up in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, but I haven't been active in a congregation for over 20 years. I have a love and respect for people of all Faiths, and respect those of no faith (like my husband) as well. I very much respect people's right to love and marry whomever they choose, which is why the LCMS is not a place I can call MY church anymore.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Aberdeen, SD wedding officiant?
I hope I can get to know the couple a bit and put their personality into the service and make it memorable.

I have degrees in English and counseling, I attended Lutheran schools and studied yoga and Reiki. I HOPE that all means I do my best to understand the people I come into contact with on several levels and that I can put words together pretty well.
