Tyler Dale Wallace
Ordained Minister in Preston, Mississippi
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became an ordained minister online because I felt a genuine calling to serve God and to use my life to help others. I wanted to have a formal ministry credential as I began pursuing opportunities to preach the Gospel, teach the Bible, encourage people through difficult seasons, pray with those in need, and serve my community.
For me, ordination was never simply about having a title or credential. It was about taking my desire to serve Christ seriously and becoming prepared to step through the doors God opens for ministry.
I hope to continue growing as a preacher, evangelist, Bible teacher, and servant of others through continued study, discipleship, practical ministry experience, and formal theological education. My desire is to faithfully proclaim Jesus Christ, encourage people in their faith, and serve wherever I am given an opportunity to make a difference.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Preston, MS wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies special is that I believe a wedding should be more than simply completing a legal requirement. It should be a meaningful celebration of two people choosing to build their lives together and, when desired, to honor God through the covenant of marriage.
As a professional pastor and minister, I understand marriage from both a personal and biblical perspective. Scripture teaches that marriage is a sacred covenant established by God, reflecting love, unity, faithfulness, and mutual commitment. Genesis 2:24 speaks of two becoming one, while Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 reminds us of the strength and support found when two people walk through life together. Ephesians 5:25 also calls husbands and wives to demonstrate selfless, sacrificial love, following the example of Christ.
I take time to listen to each couple, learn their story, understand what their relationship means to them, and help create a ceremony that reflects their personalities, values, and wishes. When a couple desires a Christian ceremony, I am honored to incorporate Scripture, prayer, and a Christ-centered message that emphasizes love, commitment, faithfulness, forgiveness, grace, and the importance of building a marriage on a strong spiritual foundation.
My role as a minister is not only to officiate the ceremony but also to help couples recognize the depth and responsibility of the covenant they are entering. I approach each wedding with reverence, compassion, professionalism, warmth, and sincerity, while honoring the couple’s beliefs and wishes.
My goal is to make each couple feel heard, respected, and genuinely celebrated. Whether the ceremony is traditional, intimate, simple, or deeply faith-centered, I want it to be a memorable and meaningful moment that reflects the significance of the commitment they are making to one another and, when appropriate, to God.
