Shari Cathcart-Sievert
Ordained Minister in Bella Vista, Arkansas
About Me:
I believe in Divine Love which flows through many avenues: Jesus, the Buddha, Dalai Lama, Mother Nature, Reiki, to name a few. The healing energy that Divine Love offers is available to everyone, no matter their religious affiliation, ethnicity, sexuality, gender identity, socioeconomic status, or any other identity marker. Divine Love seeks and accepts us all and wraps her arms around us, welcoming us home!
This is not the story many have heard. Pain and trauma has been heaped upon so many by the Church. My calling is especially for those who have received trauma from religious organizations/institutions, or Church.
I have two years of seminary training from Phillips Theological Seminary. I am a musician by trade, singer, pianist, choir director, saxophonist, worship leader, music theatre director. I have taught and led in many capacities, especially in the public school as a veteran teacher of 18 years.
I would like to officiate weddings of those who do not feel comfortable asking a minister from a “normal church or synagogue or temple.” I would love to officiate LGBTQ weddings as I am myself Queer.
I am also available to speak to groups about a whole slew of topics. (The Enneagram in Education, Creatives and Mental Health, the Presence of the Divine, Making Meditation your own, Living Queer in a Straight World, Peace Making vs Peace Keeping, Jesus and the Buddha, and many more)
