Olwen Suzette Stewart

I was born and raised in the United Kingdom. Although I attended a Church of England school, I was christened a Methodist. I attended a Methodist church until I was 14 years old, then I spent three years attending a local Mormon church - They were so friendly and welcoming! After leaving the Mormon church, I began to study world religions. I even lived in the Middle East for three years and considered converting to Islam! I eventually realized that most religions are very similar. They seem to follow the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have done unto you". That's how I live my life! Nowadays, I have been a member at a Unitarian Universalist Church in Fort Myers, and although I no longer attend, I have felt most at home there. I still tune in to their weekly services. I would describe myself as a spiritual atheist with a thirst for knowledge. I have been teaching for 36 years, and I have my Doctorate in Education.
