About Me:
I believe that everyone deserves to feel welcome and accepted. The process of spiritual growth is a process that everyone in this world is entitled to experience and should be embarked upon with an open heart, spirit, and mind. Regardless of the service being provided, I always do my best to ensure that everyone present will be leaving with some type of spiritual fulfillment, be it knowledge or even a smile. Spirituality does not discriminate against culture, sexual preference or orientation.
I get my experience from growing up in the Catholic church. Growing up in the church I worked as the priest’s “right hand” ensuring that the church and parish were always in order. As a young teen I was given the title of the leader of my church’s youth group, and I took that time to figure out ways to get the youth more active in the parish as well as in their own spirituality.
Alongside my experience in the church, I grew up practicing Puerto Rican Espiritismo which is a mixture of Afro-Caribbean spiritual beliefs and the teachings of Allan Kardec. Practicing Espiritismo has allowed me to grow and connect with spirit and heal not only the traumas of my past but to break the generational curses handed down by my ancestors. Learning to communicate with my spirit guides has taught me so much about myself, others and the world we live in. There is such beauty behind this tradition that I recommend everyone experience. The songs, the community, and the knowing that there is always an army of divine warriors alongside you at your defense.
As I got older, I felt the need to connect more with my roots and dive deeper into the world of what Caribbean spirituality is. In doing so, I found the Afro-Cuban tradition of Lucumi and today am an initiated priest of Yemaya. The colorful world of this tradition has filled my heart and blessed me in ways I could’ve never thought imaginable. For those who do not know, this system of beliefs was brought to Cuba during the slave-trade and is an extension of traditional Orisa worship in Nigeria. The belief system dates back thousands of years and continues to thrive today amongst the people of the diaspora.
That’s just a little background history of who I am and my love for what I do. I offer all the services listed as well as other services such as spiritual readings, baths, etc. If you are interested in any of the services provided, please do not hesitate to contact!
