Shawn "Spike" Smith

As a gay man, a member of Kiwanis International and their International Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Chair of Pennsylvania Kiwanis' Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion comittee, I believe that EVERYONE deserves the chance to join their lives in marriage. I was raised Catholic, studied Wicca and looked into various other religions and have come to the conclusion that religion is not what someone else tells you it is, rather your own personal believe between you and the construct within the universe that you believe to be the divine. That is why I believe each wedding is a personal experience that I work with the couples to tailor a ceremony that touches on the important aspects of their beliefs and customs, while mainting the necessary aspects to keep the ceremony recognized officially as a union - all while keeping it light and fun for not only the couple, but their guests as well. Let's be honest, no one likes a long, boring wedding ceremony - if its not fun, you're doing it wrong!

I have presided over weddings as small as six people in an impromptu setting to large scale entertainment venues with 300+ guests.
