Lori Thomasson
Ordained Minister in Lawrenceville, Georgia
About Me:
It should be a prayerful and informed decision whenever anybody needs to hire a minister for an occasion. I am a "real" minister, meaning I don't fake or act religiously. I take spiritual matters seriously because I answer to God, so I'll share how I came to become a minister.
I accepted Christ at age seventeen but didn't consciously walk with the Lord until 1996. In 2000, the LORD called me into ministry. My pastor anointed me and prayed for me. I have never regretted my decision, and because of God's faithfulness and love, I have been blessed to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and serve in various capacities in and out of the church building.
For over 20 years, I have studied the Bible with pastors and other ministers and personal study. I completed one year of Bible college and took several courses at the Global School of Ministry (GSOM), but the meat of my training has been in the field.
As a servant leader, I have led various faith-based ministries and served on great teams. I also started an after-school program and co-founded a faith-based arts and music movement with a group of artistic ministers. I got to travel locally and out of state, ministering through the spoken word. God has also allowed me to speak at schools and churches to young people. I currently assist people at my church in discovering their next steps of faith.
Now that you've taken some time to learn a bit about my walk (and hopefully others), I hope that you have enough information to make the right ministerial choice for your needs. God bless.
