Master J. A. Brown
Ordained Minister in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I had a formal Christian upbringing and went to Christian School Kindergarten-College Prep. My Mothers side of the family is Catholic and Presbyterian. My fathers side was Ashkenazi Jewish, my father being the 1st to marry outside the faith. I didn't delve too deep in my Hebrew ancestry besides the basis of the faith, with interest in the Kabala. I had done deep studies into Christianity in my younger years. Studied the Bible Old Testament to New Testament. Wrote papers on every book, with great interest in Revelations, the Gospel of John but really all the Gospels, Isaiah, Psalms, the Book of Wisdom, 1&2 Chronicles, the Apocraphia, the Gnostic Gospels and more. Later my journey for truth took me to observe and study many different religious philosophies. I traveled and saw many things from Southern Baptists, to Universalist Hippies. I took journies thru the psychedelic experience to open up spiritual channels, and see creation life redemption and destruction to rebirth. I continue to seek truth, and also have a strong root in Judeo-Christianity. I became ordained to legitimize the time spent on my studies of the Bible as a young man, and my continuing search for truth, and be able to use what I have gained for good as I can. These are truly times of concern for all of faith.
Where are you from?
Originally Southern California, have lived all over, been in North Idaho for 24 years, moving here after a motorcycle accident that briefly took my life, and ultimately took my right leg below the knee and now call Coeur d'Alene home.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
Beyond legitimizing my formal education and lifelong studies. I would also like to be recognized in my state as an ordained .Minister, so if I need to I can perform the duties of clergy such as Baptism, Blessings, Weddings, Funerals, Exorcism, and Ministering. I have no desire to start a Church or have a congregation, but prefer to be able to minister to those who ask as I paint the walls of their temple (tattoo) one on one. There are many interepertations of the Verse in Leviticus, and you have to consider the times and infection control in old testament times was week at best. A lot of the old law was for the protection of the people. Christ came to break down the old laws. Isaiah 44:5 speaks of inscribing the name of Yahweh on one's hand and being named Israel. In old days slaves were tattooed on their hands marking who they belonged to, when those who tattooed the name of God on their hand, showed they only believed they belonged to the Lord. Early Christians tattooed themselves withsymbols, the fish being the most well known, so they could identify other Christians. Enough defending my trade. I minister to those in need who come to me and ask.

Additional Information
My philosophy is Judeo Christian in origin, I believe in the teachings of the Old Testament, as well as the Gospels. I believe the Christ is the Messiah and the Son of the Creator, and the Holy Spirit. I believe in the inclusion of all the accounts of Christ especially the Book of Mary. I believe that Yahweh created all the seed bearing plants, fruits and herbs were for the service of man, and some of these bring you closer to him, and lift up your prayers. I believe Yeshua is the Son of Yahweh and our redeemer. I believe that the prophecies are being fulfilled and our time is at hand, but even so we can find comfort. I am a seeker of truth and divinity so I can come closer to the Creator, and share to those who have interest. I don't believe in pushing any religion,no matter what the faith upon anyone. Only do I share when asked. People are often blown away, a tattoo artist who is a Judeo Christian, and a firm believer. I communicate with the Lord every day, before I start out, and praise him for every breathe I take.

Additional Information
I came up from a very strong Christian upbringing, with excellent private Christian Schooling. Life changes due to unfortunate circumstances took me thru all stages of spiritualism, searching for truths in all religions, and philosophies, trying to understand each one's origins and what we're the foundations of those faiths. Altho a Judeo Christian, I believe that knowledge of the philosophies of others faiths are important. Look at Christianity alone, how many denominations are there? How many philosophies? There are truths in all. I belive that our Creator, meant the earth to be our Temple, and that what really matters is our faith, our belief, not in building and repetitive ceremony. Our spiritual journeys are so much fuller than the mundane weekly rituals. Go out in nature to give praise, that is where the Lord dwells.
