Jamie Martell

Jamie Martell believes in the magic of yoga, the ultimate in shifting perception within yourself, your family, and the community. After over 17 years of personal practice and 4,500+ hours of teaching, she is still enchanted with the practice of yoga and how it continues to evolve as a practice, lifestyle, and spiritual path. Jamie believes the key to practicing yoga is to take it off the mat and into your everyday life.

Jamie teaches accessible, modern yoga that is steeped in traditional yogic values and philosophy which involves a system that moves beyond just the postures. Jamie is a certified teacher of The Kaivalya Yoga Method (TKYM). The primary principles and practices of TKYM are ritual, alchemy, mythology, psychology, and journey of the hero. Jamie is registered with Yoga Alliance as an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500-hour level (E-RYT 500) and a Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). Jamie is the owner of Our Sacred Space Yoga in Hartsville, SC, Art Education Director at Black Creek Arts, and designer of Malas by Jamie. Jamie holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and is an Ordained Minister.
