Brooke

Brooke is a Baha'i who believes in the oneness of humanity and the equality of men and women. The family is a microcosm of society, so family unity must be preserved if world unity is to be realized. Brooke recognizes marriage as both a physical and spiritual union that can create a "fortress for well-being and salvation" for the couple and also for the community of which they are a part. Marriage does not end with life on this earth – the couple can become loving companions and comrades here and also through all the worlds of God. Because Baha'i weddings are for members of the Baha'i community, Brooke simply brings a Baha'i perspective not the official Baha'i wedding ceremony to her role.
