I spent six and a half years in a Catholic seminary until I realized that celibacy and that way of life would not allow me true freedom. How would a celibate man be able to compassionately counsel a couple going through marital problems? The archaic man made rules of the church proved too much for me so I left and chose marriage over being alone and living amongst men.
