There are 5 crucial minutes in every marriage. The 5 minutes needed to avoid regret from words spoken in anger, take 5 minutes to regroup yourself during an argument. It is the difference between proving you're right to getting separated. If only you took those 5 minutes to regroup. You would work out the differences instead of swallowing the guilt. I believe that marriage is a scale, sometimes one side is a little heavier than the other, but without the other you would be lost without balance. It takes give and take. There is no "one" specific role for each person, marriage is a combined effort, it took both "I do" to make it a marriage, it shouldn't stop after that day. A promise is a promise, if you say you will then you should do what you say.
