Howdy I am Rev. Dr. David A. May ThD.

I am the founder of “From Prison to God's Ministry” that was founded in December of 2020 I am divorce with 2 children and 3 Grandchildren. I am the first born of three children, Born May of 1955 in the Metropolitan area of Washington DC at Bethesda Naval Hospital. I was raise in a little town called Rockville, Maryland. At the age of 2 my Mother & Father divorced, both remarried. In Elementary school I was diagnose of an learning disability and hearing impairment of 80% lost in the high frequency through the years was no improvement for my hearing I came to know the Lord at the age of 15 . I attend church and High School choirs through my high School years, as well as Played Bass.

But in 1973 sill in High School, I was drafted during the Vietnam War but only in the 11th. grade, so after I graduate in 1974 I Join the US Navy to become a SeaBee I was Honorable Discharge for reason of medical (Hearing Impairment) There is were my life seemed to had ended, or turned up-side-down. I turned away from God, hang out with the wrong crowd of people. Drug and Alcohol took control of my life I was seeking for Answers but forgot that Jesus is the only answer! It was not until I was sent to Prison for a drug related crime. I found the Lord in a much deeper way then I never seen in my life. I saw a hunger in my life to know Jesus, I was in Prison for 2 1/2 years there I spent 90% of my time in the word. I begin to study in different corresponding classes like "Crossroad international and Set free prison Ministries" I was transferred to a Faith Base Prison, It was like I never saw prison like this on TV.

I continue studying the Word till I came across Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope. As I learned and grew spiritually in my walk with the Lord he was using me as his tool to win souls for Christ. Through the corresponding classes I took "Crossroad international & Set free prison Ministries" help me to grow spiritually as it drew me closer to the knowledge of Christ.

When you learn something its not that you hold it back, but you pass it along. Proverbs 27:17 - Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. 1 John 4:17 - Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. Today I am a Ordained Pastor, but I lack the formal education.

I have a online Ministry that's just getting started, to help Inmates who is getting out of Prison by offering support, and helping them get on there feet.
