Maybe you really want to write your own vows, and direct your own service- but you still need someone to sign off on and officiate the ceremony. Maybe you need to get married on a tight deadline, or in an unconventional location. Maybe you waited too long to start looking for a minister and your date is unavailable with your local spiritual advisor.
