Monica Molinar
Ordained Minister in Pahrump, Nevada
About Me:
With a broad background in wholistic, metaphysical, naturopathic, and spiritual healing practices, together with the lived experiences walking a variety of spiritual paths, my ministry's focus is to be a support to you on your journey up the same mountain we each climb in our own way.
It is not my role as a ministerial healer to mold you, but to help unfold you, facilitating the unveiling of your inner truths and your freedom to express the true nature and best version of yourself to the rest of us.
COVID-19 safety protocols currently limit our opportunities for hands-on healing sessions. However, I remain available for distance work as well as in-person ministerial services such as weddings, in Southern Nevada.
Regarding my religious affiliations, I chose to receive Ordination from Universal Life Church Ministries (ULC) for a few reasons:
1) It was necessary to my Healing Arts Practice to work within the legalities of the state I was living in at that time, and continues to be a requirement in my current location, in order to allow me to offer spiritual guidance and support for my clients, and to not be misconstrued as a licensed Counselor, Therapist, or Mental Health Clinician, which I am not - nor do I wish to travel the road to Allopathic Health Care, for while I am well aware that medical supervision and treatment are important aspects of overall well-being, and are appropriate and necessary in some cases, it is my personal and professional experience and opinion that there are times when compassionate listening and intuitive spiritual insights can be as helpful - sometimes more helpful - and that is where my work lies.
2) Universal Life Church states that we are all children of the same Universe (hence, the name of the church), and as such, does not require or dictate that any other specific dogma, liturgy, ritual, or road to a sense of salvation from this life are followed in order to join the community - all who are ordained through ULC are free to determine in what ways that ordination serves them and their congregants, members, followers, etc.
A little more about my own spiritual background and my ministry:
As one who has spent the better part of the past 54+ years as a Seeker and a Seer, looking for the 'right' path that will take me where I wish to go, becoming a member of multiple different churches and religions over that period of time only to leave them all as ashes and dust because they were not the 'right' fit for how I interpret all that is on a spiritual level, I've come to the place of understanding that - as mentioned earlier - we are all doing our best to climb the same mountain, and there are myriad ways to reach the summit.
There are multiple reasons why I've left each of the religious institutions I've once been a part of, and over the course of time, I'll be sharing those stories on the website, http://MonicaMolinar.com which is undergoing renovations as of January, 2021. My website will soon have more features and be more accommodating to the need for online and distance services in this time of necessary COVID-19 health protocols.
Until my website functions more fully, here's what I think, in a nutshell:
Not all of us attend Catholic Mass, but we all have the capacity to feel moved by the beauty of such a service, and we can come away from a visit to our local Catholic Cathedral or travel to visit the Vatican with a sense of awe and reverence for those sacred sites, while at the same time, have the awareness that some have been severely harmed by it.
By the way, I've never joined the Catholic Church, but I do appreciate their beauty, admire the cycles of the Liturgical Year, and enjoy the fact that there's a feeling of acknowledgement of our ancestors and saints who have lived before us, who we can think about and petition at times.
So, whether you're considering yourself to be an Evangelic Christian or a Pagan, or find yourself on a different path altogether, we can agree to work together in the unity we find as children of the same universe.
It is possible to ask good questions and seek answers that make sense as we discover ways to help clear your blockages, find new perspectives to consider and learn from, and grow into who we truly are, at our core.
My work in the spiritual realms is that of a facilitator, guide and healer.
My spiritual tools include appreciation, bliss, compassion, devotion, empathy, faith, grace, hope, insight, joy, kindness, love, magic, nature, open-mindedness, peace, quietude, respite, sacredness, tranquility, understanding, voicing, walking, *xperience, yearning, and a zest for life.
Though I am not a medical doctor, I take the Hippocratic Oath of non-harming to heart, and my best work is focused on health and wellness.
It is important that we do no harm to ourselves or to others, in order to not hinder our climb up the mountain of our lives. That said, we are also all human and I am no exception to the faults and flaws of human life.
I have tripped and fallen and have made more than my fair share of mistakes in my journey through my time living in this skin, and the harm I have caused over the years to myself and those I care about are also useful aspects of both my personal spiritual walk and how I interact with others today, and in how I perform the work that I do with my clientele.
For our past serves as a fertile ground for learning how not to behave and interact, if we will but acknowledge those previous harms and do the work necessary to move beyond the pain and suffering we have been a part of, and enter into a place of purposeful passion and productive love.
If concepts such as harming yourself or others in order to elicit what you need are a part of your practice, I am not the spiritual helper for you. For I have found that causing harm is not what gets me where I wish to go.
If you can accept me as I am, with all my flaws, witch warts & wrinkles, I welcome you and invite you to join my circle of friends, and hope that we will have the opportunity to share, grow, and climb life's hills together.
