I'm a mother of 3 and 2 grandchildren. I lost my daughter to suicide on January 23,2019.She was 26 and a beautiful young lady. That night changed my life forever. I wanted to die and also be with my daughter. I realize I still had 2 grown sons and my grandchildren to live for. Over the past year i have had my ups and my downs, but I have helped other people just by them seeing some of my tattoos with a semi colon (A semicolon tattoo, usually worn on the wrist, represents someone who could have ended their life, but chose not to. It symbolizes the wearer's fight against suicide, depression, and other mental health issues, and it affirms their determination to keep on living in the face of adversity. A semicolon tattoo means "my story is not over yet.") . I have talked with teenagers and adults who still feel like they are nothing and after talking with them they came to realize that they are someone, they are mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, friends and I explained how hard it is to go and identify your baby that lived states away from you in the middle of the night. To see her hooked up to tubes and laying on a stretcher in the coldest part of the hospital changes a mother, you should not be identifying your child you should go before them. I kept asking GOD why my daughter? and not me. The past year has been hard for me as I have said especially with covid-19, sitting at home with all your thoughts and pictures surrounding you brings questions that you get no answers to.

I have had several people tell me its not my time and GOD has another purpose for me and they walked into my life where I was really at a low, It was like all the butterfly's(my daughters favorite) that I would see (Danielle's way of telling me its ok to keep going on mom). A group of strangers actually that was started in South NJ, has helped me in so many ways. they were there to talk with me when I needed it and because of them and others It bought me back to life. Something to look forward to.

I love being out in the nature, animals' and being a free spirit. I grew up Southern Baptists but thats not all that is out their being Irish and Cherokee I feel a very deep root to my Cherokee side and have been getting into my crystals and learing green magik, studing the moon cycles and it amazes me what can be done outside the realm of what you were taught to beleive as a child.

This is NEW for me and I would Love to put some smiles and happiness in others hearts.
