Michael K. Wieda
Ordained Minister in Des Plaines, Illinois
About Me:
I've spent my entire life growing up through the Presbyterian church. When I lost my mother to cancer in 2008 I was devastated and with no where to turn. My inner spirit led me back to my local congregation and the rebirthing process began. With help from God, the pastor of our local congregation, and the congregation itself I was able to grow into the man my mother always wanted me to be. I've witnessed first hand God demonstrate his strength through individuals and heal them from loss, heal them from health issues, heal them from alcoholism, and heal them from overwhelming situations. I took this very serious and while concluding my professional baseball career in Trnava, Slovakia, I participated in ministry studies with the local ministries and people of God. Since 2011, I see things more clearly, I appreciate the many gifts and blessings bestowed upon us both great and small thanks to God, and I want to help others build similar relationships and connections to God.
All in all, my ministries provide a modern day vision/experience of God's grace and God's power. I would like to help people find closure and hope moving forward following the loss of a loved one. I would appreciate the opportunity to introduce new life to this world through God's eyes and the practice of Baptism. I would be honored to officiate the bonding of two people through the love, joy, connection, and commitment of Holy Matrimony. And in doing so, I assure that I will carry out all of my duties with respect, enthusiasm, and faith in our God almighty!
