While just recently ordained, I felt the call to ministry as a young child. I was raised by very strict grandparents who did not believe that women should be ministers. So I decided when I grew up that I would marry a minister. LOL! {That did not happen.}

It was during my childhood as well that I heard about Native American Medicine People and how they were spiritual leaders and healers. I thought, "That makes sense because ministers heal people too." Yes, that was this young girl's reasoning.

Fast forward a couple decades when I first learned of crystal healing. I was drawn to this instantly. It was at this time as well that I learned of Reiki healing and I very soon became a Level II Practitioner.

Fast forward another couple decades. Fast forward over some dark nights of the soul, during which I would question all that I ever was taught about spirituality. But because of those dark nights, I came to appreciate the Light of the Universe. I slowly but surely returned to the ways I learned when I was young. With prayer and meditation I came to realize the Universe was saying to me: "I gave you a lot of knowledge when you were younger. Apply it."

I returned to Reiki. I returned to the spiritual path from which I strayed so long ago. I have come a long way in a short time along this path. I love it and I devote myself to walking along this path as far as I possibly can.

With great humility I acknowledge that the Universe has given me gifts . gifts I always felt I did not deserve. But as I walk farther along my path I realize, the Universe did not give the gifts for me to keep to myself but to share with all the Children of the Universe.

Being an ordained minister allows me to share my gifts with others outside my own circles. I request only small fees as "energy exchange" yet I negotiate fees and barter if led to do so. I "pay it forward" whenever I see an opportunity. As the Universe has so richly blessed me, I seek to be a blessing to others.
