Hey, my name's Serkan (pronounced sir-con)

I'm genuinely new to all of this. Recently, my friends Joe and Aliie asked me to officiate their wedding, when the time comes, so here I am. I kind of just want to help bring people together. I really do want to help LGBT+ couples marry. Talking with my friend a couple of years ago, who is gay, she brought up how one of her gay friends and that friend's partner were having trouble finding someone to officiate their wedding. They eventually did what Joe and Allie did and asked one of their friends to get ordained, and officiate their wedding.

If this matters, I was born Muslim, never grew up practicing religion and in general went into a period of not caring for religion. I just chose to live. Then one of my friends, Tiesha, introduced me to Christianity. At first I was like, "yeah, okay waves fingers." Then she showed me more and well. held my hand introducing me to more of God and Christianity as a whole. Now, because of her, I practice to devote myself to a degree.

I want to openly state, I was a supporter of the LGBT+ community prior to religion and God coming into my life. I grew up watching RuPaul's Drag Race with my 2 sisters. I've had drag culture influenced in my life since season 2 of RuPaul's drag race was airing. Thank you. Tati. I worked in the fashion industry with my oldest sister. Yes in the fashion industry I've met, hung out with, and worked with several gay people. And even now as someone who is trying to devote themself to God, I do firmly believe same-sex marriage is to be accepted in equal value. I have always thought this and will never go back on that no matter what. I refuse to turn on the friends I've made, my own beliefs growing up, and a community that personally has never wronged me and has treated me as equal.

Location and pricing are negotiable. Location wise I'm willing to go a bit farther out than 25 miles. To be exact I wouldn't mind going into the NYC boroughs. If my hobbies matter. I'm also a writer. I'm a, uh video and board game aficionado. I studied film and love film as a whole. I'm a nerd, okay. I worked in the fashion industry for 2 years. Then I was a personal trainer for a year, and a private dog walker to the dog of someone I met while working in fashion. Officiating weddings is not a game plan for my career path. This is just a fun thing for me where I can also try and help people, and as I do it I can become more experienced to help more.
