I have had a troubled past, some would say I was heading straight to hell. I have battled many demons and over came many obstacles after a spiritual awakening. While I was battling drug addiction I found myself in complete darkness with no place to turn. I have finally hit rock bottom, got on my motorcycle and was going 109 mph. I didn't care how I died, I was just hoping it was quick. I saw a semi turn a corner heading right to me when a white dive flew right into my helmet forcing me to swerve. As I swerved I ran off the road and had a minor accident. As I was laying there begging to die. A man came to me to get up and follow the light. As I was getting up the man showed himself to me. There stood a man, 6ft even dark hair and clean shaven. Holding out his hand to help me up. As I took his hand it felt as time stood still, he spoke to me saying that I have a higher purpose. This man told me everyone has a past, even the followers of Christ had their own demons. Gods does not put anything in your path without a reason. That is what this man had told me, I asked him what good am I as I have been a sinner all my life? I was told in order to be a Shepherd for the lord's flock one must first understand the struggles and demons people face in order to help those in need find the grace of the lord. I was put here to make a difference in Gods name.
