Darlene R. Heller

I'm a former actress and comedian in NYC turned suburban working Mom in NJ. I am ordained because one of my dearest friends for over 10 years asked if I would officiate her wedding. Many have told me this is a calling for me, but I was just honored to be chosen. It will be my first, in the spring of 2020, but I'm no stranger to public speaking. I personally was raised in the spiritual path of Eckankar from childhood through college, and have close family and friends in many different religions from Episcopalian and Presbyterian to Kadampa and Zen Buddhisms. I am not currently practicing or a member of any religion. I will forever support (and have been in the wedding parties) of same-sex marriages and am liberal of mind and heart.
