As a professional minister of music for over 30 years I have always thought about becoming a member of the clergy. Recently I was asked to perform a wedding for two friends. Unfortunately, I could not do it unless I was ordained. I have always considered going to get ordained at Yale, but since I have a Doctorate already, well, just never did it! I believe in marriage and am excited to be able to bring my love for people, spirituality and peace to all people. Thanks to the ULC I will be able to join people in marriage who may not want the traditional service, or who do, but would like someone from outside their place of worship to perform the ceremony. I did perform the wedding for my friends and it was very moving for us all. I am so blessed to be able to do this service for others.
