Lars A. Cramer
Ordained Minister in Berlin, Berlin
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became an ordained minister online because I have a deep desire to accompany people through some of the most meaningful transitions in life — joining in marriage, becoming part of a community, or saying farewell at the end of life. As a registered nurse, I work closely with people in moments of both joy and vulnerability. This role brings me very close to both life and death, and I see it as a calling to offer support, presence, and compassion throughout these sacred passages.
Where are you from?
Northern Germany
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
We are all children of god, you possible named him different or see him different like i am, but he is still around us. He protect us from evil and fill us up with joy and the right way. Let me help you, to find your own way to him. It dosn't matter if u are Buddhist, Hindu, Christ, or Muslim.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Berlin, BE wedding officiant?
I think it’s important that especially those who are getting married help shape the “ritual” of the wedding ceremony in the way they would like it to be. Of course, I can do it according to the church rite, but we can also create something unique together, so that it becomes a moment no one else will ever experience in the same way! I think that’s what makes it special.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
I don’t really mind where a wedding takes place — whether in Ireland, South Korea, Japan, Australia, or elsewhere. I’m happy to conduct the ceremony in German and English, or even try to do it in another language — though I can’t guarantee how good my pronunciation will be ;) Travel and accommodation costs must be covered by the couple, and the fee paid for the wedding ceremony will be donated to a charity (except for any necessary payments to U.S. authorities in the case of a legally binding marriage between two American citizens or between an American citizen and a person of another nationality).
