About Me:
I became ordained after my own wedding almost didn’t happen due to having a female as a groomsman. She was my husbands best friend and she is not very feminine. So putting her on my side in a dress was not a notion that we even had. The night before our wedding after the rehearsal at the church, the pastor called my husband and told him he would not be able to marry us or allow us access to the church as we had a female in a male role. I was livid. Luckily we found a last minute ordained minister and moved our ceremony to the venue of our reception.
