Andrea Young-Mewbourn

My spiritual journey began as a teenager. I was baptized snd confirmed in the Episcopal faith, but I do not conform only to that religion. I am a very open minded spiritual individual.

I more prefer to refer to myself as a spiritual Christian. Some of my spiritual heroes include Mother Teresa, Ghandi, Pastor Chris Hodges of the Highlands Church, and Lysa Tykeurst.

I believe marriage is an important spiritual journey that must be constantly nurtured by the words of Christ. My belief about the Bible is that it is the interpretation of many people's relationships and experiences with the Holy Spirit and Jesus. The Passion of Christ movie was a turning point in my spirituality.

I have experience in church operations as a member of Vestry, a church treasurer and Secretary. I was the President, Vice President, Secretary and of the Episcopal Church Women. I attended many retreats in these positions, such as the Diocesen Conventions and Cursillo.

In closing, I simply want to offer couples a unique spiritual experience as they are wed.
