Mark Quigley
Ordained Minister in Mesa, Arizona
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
Some close family friends asked me if I would officiate their 25th wedding anniversary vow renewals. I was so honored and touched that they wanted me to participate in such a milestone event in their journey together that I wanted to make it extra special by surprising them with my ordination at the ceremony. Since then, I have been proudly helping family, friends, and my community in my ministerial duties.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Mesa, AZ wedding officiant?
I'm an Ordained Minister providing Ministerial Officiant Services at weddings, baptisms, christenings, house blessings, funerals, rituals, and alternative ceremonies for both traditional and LGBTQIA+ families - joining, celebrating, and welcoming all together by old tradition or new.
To avoid confusion - I'm a wedding officiant - not a wedding coordinator or planner.
I'm the wedding officiant, the marriage performer, the one who solemnizes your marriage after conducting the ceremony, and then, after hearing you say "I do,” can sign your state marriage license to make it legal.
While I’m not a wedding planner or coordinator, I can help guide you in the planning and coordination of your own wedding by offering contact information for many wedding vendors.
I don't usually conduct weddings in a church setting, as I'm not a religious minister. However, I do have and occasionally wear the trappings commonly associated with a minister that you would see walking the halls of any church.
I'm more what can best be described as an interdenominational secular minister, and you’ll likely find me to be a little softer, warmer, more personal, and more flexible regarding the pure natural beauty of the outdoor or indoor location of your choice, along with incorporating any unique or custom ideas that you wish as part of your special day.
What does it mean to be interdenominational secular? Well, it means that I celebrate the strengths of many denominations, and I strive to incorporate different practices from various denominations. I can provide you with a Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Muslim, Wiccan, Pagan, Agnostic, Atheist, or Secular-based ceremony ranging in style from traditional to contemporary, to simple, and right down to that of basic legal marriage ceremony, similar to a civil ceremony. Vow Renewals? I do those as well. I can even do CosPlay Weddings!
What are CosPlay Weddings? Well, do you secretly wish that Willy Wonka was the minister at your wedding? Or perhaps you want a Steampunk minister? I can work with you for all types of CosPlay Weddings, incorporating them with all the various formats of your traditional marriages as well.
So, no matter what type of ceremony you’re planning, I am universally prepared to help you make it as uniquely special as you are.
